On October 5, IndiGo Airlines announced that its systems were back to normal following a technical outage that disrupted operations at various airports in India. In a statement shared on social media, IndiGo expressed regret for the inconvenience faced by passengers and thanked them for their patience and understanding.
The outage impacted the airline’s digital systems, affecting check-in and boarding processes. However, IndiGo’s frontline teams quickly adapted, issuing manual boarding passes and assisting passengers to minimize service disruption. The airline emphasized that despite the technical challenges, flights continued with minimal delays, and timely updates were provided across all communication channels.
