The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has announced an important change regarding the application process for allotment of computer numbers for Flight Crew and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) examinations. Effective immediately, candidates are no longer required to submit hard copies of their application forms. Additionally, the need for certification by a Competent Authority or attestation by a Notary/Gazetted Officer has been abolished.

Candidates can now complete the entire process online by uploading self-attested documents such as educational qualifications, identity proofs, and a recent photograph via the Pariksha Portal. Applicants are advised to carefully read the latest Flight Crew/AME User Manual before proceeding with their applications.
